A WEBTECH MADE A MISTAKE.
IF YOU ORDER NOW, THEY HAVE TO SELL YOU THE
BLUE BUCKETS FOR $9.99!!!

So because some web tech makes a mistake K-Mart gets to take a bath on this.
And with the power of the internet and the (possible) misuse of various
"coupon" codes they can not only take a 50% off bath that we actually know
wasn't the intended price, they get to lose even more money.

Yeah, yeah, "as advertised" blah blah blah.  I like to get in on good deals
myself, but this feeding frenzy mentality of jumping on what seem to be
obvious mistakes (this one is a confirmed mistake, it would seem) is still a
little startling.

Call me crazy - I like good deals as much or more than anyone, and if this
were completely legit I'd want to order a few dozen of them, but doesn't
*anyone* think it might be just a teensy bit wrong to capitalize on the
mistake made by one person and penalize an entire company for it?

Well, if it was a mistake, then their customer support people shouldn't be telling people that it is correct when they call in. I called in to verify, as did several others, and i was told that it was correct. Although, as I stated earlier, the (...) (23 years ago, 21-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
