Has anyone seen the KK chrome sets 4816-19 in the U.S. yet.  If so, at
what stores (or type of stores) so I can check in my area.

Tim

I just spoke with a lady at Lego Consumer Affairs and she gave me the scoop.
The sets will only be available at grocery and drug stores. Lego does not plan
on distributing them to the larger retail chains(Wal Mart, Target, etc.) The
names of the companies that have "ordered" these sets are below. Please forgive
my misspelling: (By the way, I have no geographic data on the location of these
stores.)

Buehlers
Super Value
E-Z Gregory
Winn Dixie
Mills Fleet
Kings
Dynamic Distribution
Wakeburn Food Corp.

I was also told that these sets may pop up in different stores. Seeing as how
they were released on Aug 15, I'm sure they will. You can contact consumer
affairs for updated store info. (1-800-422-5346)

Happy Hunting,
Todd

Thanks for this info!!
Now, to see if we still have any winn-dixies in town : ))

(...) There are Kings store in western Idaho, if it is the same chain, but that is still 8 hours drive. Also there are a few Cub Foods in western Oregon, where I live. I guess I will have to try there first. Tim (24 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
