  Re: Target update

(...) I plan to visit the local Target the next few days to check the 4561 Railway Express as often as possible for a 50% or 70% discount. I bought one at 65$ plus shipping last summer and was satisfied with the purchase at that cost. If the cost (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Droid Fighter sale at KBtoys

KBtoys (stores, not online) has a 3 for $10 for Droid Fighter (7111) even though the boxes are marked $4.99. If you buy just one, the price is $3.34. I found quite a few (probably 1.5 dozen or so) at the store in NewPark Mall (Fremont, CA). I only (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: RIS 2.0

(...) Well I hoped that other people in the US would want to know that Target is selling sets like the RIS 2.0 at 30% off. I have never seen the RIS 2.0 that low before. Target has stores all over the US and all stores are having the same sale. The (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target update

(...) Be careful about that 8am bit. One Target that I hit fairly regularly (but not all that close) cost me a bit of sleep several times trying to hit the 8am door opener. One day last summer, I just happened to be passing by (middle of the (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Best Buy Mindstorms - no dice

I've called all of the Best Buy stores in the Bay Area, and a couple in Pennsylvania in the hopes that my brother-in-law could pick it up for me. But all of them are all sold out of Lego Mindstorms. If you have a Best Buy in your area that still (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Target update

My local Target (Mountain View) still has many Lego sets on 30%-off clearance. But be careful - many sets are still full price. Someone posted recently that Target tends to progressively slash their clearance discounts as time passes, all the way (...)   Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

(...) Both the East Palo Alto and San Carlos stores are sold out. I checked as soon as I heard about this. I had to talk to several clueless people before getting the answer: they decided a while ago to discontinue their Lego inventory (which I (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

(...) Anyone knows which Bay Area stores may still have them in stock? Where in the store are they shelved? I went to two stores and asked the sales people there, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. "I don't think we carry this (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

(...) Thanks a bunch for this post. I had purchased 2 RIS 2.0 sets at one of the Best Buy stores in Nashville a week or two before Christmas for $130 each. One of them I returned and repurchased using the $15 manufacturers coupon I had forgotten (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Sale @ Amazon

The Amazon "outlet" has a number of Lego sets on sale. Here's a link that gets you a list of all the Lego stuff for sale: (URL) you can't click on that, just look for the "Outlet" as one of the new stores in the toolbar. (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

You can save a lot of cash using electricity to power the RCX for (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy
