  Re: X-Large Gray Baseplates?

(...) The "big greys" are often use as the source for "custom" sized baseplates particularly for roofs and floors. But this involves one of the four deadly sins of LEGO: mixing (non-LEGO) cutting gluing painting Have I missed any other "deadly sins" (...)   Re: X-Large Gray Baseplates?

(...) Etoys is the best deal I found so far. At $10 for 225 sq. in. the x-large greys are a better deal per sq. in. than the 100 sq. in. large blues or greens for $5. But is the smaller size maybe better because it is more flexible in terms of use? (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: WOW! Wal-mart order arrived today

(...) I would check again - sometimes you have to "tell them" what you want. I just noticed the Highway Construction on-sale for $40 on Walmart.com (so they have inventory) And by the way, the X-Wing is on sale for $50 (but out-of-stock at the (...)   Re: X-Large Gray Baseplates?

The best deal for extra-large gray baseplates is currently the mosiac kit available from s@h. You get the baseplate, a bunch of black roof bricks and about ~2000 1x1 plates in any color combination you choose. If you don't want any of the parts (...)   X-Large Gray Baseplates?

Anyone know where is the best place to buy the extra large gray baseplates? I bought 2 at Zainy Brainy a few weeks ago, but they don't have any in stock yet, and I refuse to pay $15 each for them at Toys 'R' Us. -Andy Lynch (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Bluelight Specials

Anyone looking for a 7130 X-Wing for $7.50 or a Tie Fighter/Y Wing set for $12.50 go to (URL) click toys tab then click on Lego...I would but I have 4/3 of each already and buying a nice large lot of either of those sets would seal my death warrant (...)   Re: Castle Accessories 5383 (Fright Knights) Canceled!!!

(...) This item was originally discontinued last summer. This new influx of 5383s must have been from some found supply of this set somewhere. When I first spotted this set in the January 2000 catalog I called S@H and the rep told me that they had (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.market.shopping)

  RIP Bradlee's

Alas, Bradlee's has sold its final 2 Lego sets in Manhattan. The store is closing down in a messy closeout shambles. Having given a good home to so many of their Lego sets during various 20% and 40% off sales, and enjoyed their poor inventory (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Bargain in London

  Re: WalMart yet again

(...) That is strange. I called to find out about a different order, when I saw on their site that the 6433 I ordered went from $15 when I ordered it, down to $6.50.   Re: Bargain in London

(...) Sorry, don't agree there...   Re: Deals and No-Deal right around the corner.

I totally agree about TRU, I mean what is their deal?? Why keep the full retail prices? I just do not get it.
