I figured I'd give this a shot even though I placed my order on 12/14 (2 4561's and 2 8458's.) Well, it worked! The service rep. gave me a $20 credit for each 4561 and a $20 credit for each 8458. I stopped by a Meijer store in Indianapolis today and noticed that they had their Life on Mars Value Packs marked down to $6.99. They were not on sale, just marked down. If it makes you feel any better... About 11am Saturday, I sent one 4561 to a retired person who has never had any Lego, always wanted to do model trains but never got the chance.... Yes, please let me know too if they start crediting on 30+ day orders. I ordered 12/18 - just 2 days over! :-(( The person on the phone tried twice to get her supervisor to credit me, but no luck. Thank you for pointing this out. I was more than happy to pay $85 for 8458. Once I received it I ordered another one along with a 4561 for $65. Days later the price dropped for both. Because both items were clearance I never called. Target will not (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Well this just SUCKS. I ordered a bunch at around 9am on Sat, and my order is now BACKORDERED, yet others that ordered LATER than I did have already received their 4561s! For that, WM gives the package to Airborne Express, and they take it to your local Post Office, who is supposed to deliver it. That's where mine got hung (...) (...) you might check the order status thru the walmart web site to see where they shipped from. Mine had return labels for NV but the web site referenced an ohio warehouse they shipped from.
