  Re: WalMart vs WalMart

(...) I think that this is because there is really no reason for these folks to be nice. They are not entrepeneurs and really don't directly see a benefit when they are "nice" being nice usually means more work, and without a profit sharing program (...) In case anyone is looking for the town Police Station (6332), the Potomac Mills Outlet store has _one_ for $44.59 (MSRP $59.99). I think Buffie would like to move it out since it's hard to find a good shelf spot for a single set. When I mentioned (...) (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Any good LEGO shopping in Paris?

I'm going to Paris, France on business tomorrow... Any cool places to shop for LEGO? Any cool European sets I should check out? I've read that Paris is an expensive city so I'm not expecting any deals... Thanks! (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Star Wars Lego 40% off at K-mart

Hi All, Sunday morning I was at two local K-marts because of the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale. To my happy surprise, the Star Wars sets rung up at the 20% off prices! With the 50% off the 2nd set, that averaged out to 40% off regular prices for both (...) (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Geoffrey Bucks. Was re: TRU stuff shipped yet?

TRU is going the way of Target, Walmart and KMart regarding their refunds w/o receipt. They have begun to issue plastic "gift cards" instead.   Re: I am DYING to know how this particular order item is going to be fulfilled

Out of curiosity, why didn't you address it to Vancouver, WA, USA instead? It would seem more logical-- the people at that post office are probably used to getting misdirected mail meant for up north (and if you could get it to go to Vancouver, BC, (...)
