  kbtoys.com 20% off Lego

I just got an email announcement that all Lego is 20% off and Galidor (blahh) is 50% off. Some good stuff in stock but mostly not worth it after shipping. Jeremy (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: LEGO @ Tuesday Morning

(...) Hope springs eternal. I thought there might be something worth buying, and although Tuesday Morning unveiled a fair variety, the prices seemed little better than list. I guess in fact the prices were 33% off list, generally, but there wasn't (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: [US] Kmart and Meijer Sales Next Week

(...) On Saturday I discovered something new in K-Mart's BOGOs. They actually start Saturday! Saturday morning I needed some milk for breakfast and decided to go to the grocery outlet nearby. They didn't have gallons of milk, so I decided to check (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Finding a bargain

(...) I'll go along with Larry and Maggie too. (And I also happily buy Diagon Alleys at full price.) In the US, the cheapest price/piece easily available is 2 cents per brick for the new red bucket available at Walmart, KMart, Target and others. (...)   Re: Finding a bargain

(...) I'll pretty much echo what Larry said-- whether a set is a bargain depends on what *you* are interested in. For instance a while back 7153 Jango Fett Slave I came on sale for half price, so I bought a couple. Boy did I feel ripped off, even (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Finding a bargain

(...) It depends on the set and I don't think that even for a particular set, there's a hard and fast formula because it depends on what themes you like, how good the set is for parts, and how likely it is to be further discounted and your own (...)   Finding a bargain

At what point do you determine that a set is a good purchase? Is it best to go by price per piece or discount from MSRP? If price per piece, what is a good price per piece? If discount is it 20, 25 or???? Thanks for your inputs:) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

[US] Kmart and Meijer Sales Next Week

According to FBTB, Kmart *finally* has a BOGO sale next week, and Meijer has a 20% off sale. Kmart *does* still want my money![1] Now if only Meijer could be bothered to start stocking the Republic Gunship again. . . N.B. that FBTB www.fbtb.net (...)   Re: Fred Meyer sale ends Wednesday

(...) Has anyone seen any of the Creator tubs for this coupon? Both stores I checked had no sign whatsoever of the tubs. I picked up a few of the HP items on sale. Curiously, Slytherin house doesn't ring up on sale, but is pictured in the flyer with (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: S@H Web Specials - USA

(...) Good point... this probably means they bombed so badly that they want to move as many of them as possible before the holidays are over. Action figures are a risky market, littered with failures. I hope Lego learned something from this. Kevin (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)
