Well now that Paypal has established themselves as the #1 payment service in
the net with over 3 million users and barely any competition, they can do
whatever they want. In the beginning they used to give money away for free
just to get people to sign up with them. Then they cut down the referral from
$10 to $5 and now...
Most people just can't quit the service because it is so convenient and almost
everyone uses it. I don't mind paying paypal the 1.9% fee but the X.com $12
penalty for less than $100 balance is ridiculous and I'm quitting X as soon as
my balance there is current with no regrets since 98% of all people are paying
me through paypal anyway.
