In addition to this, X.com now has a $100 average monthly minumum balance. Violators will be charged a $12 (yes, that's correct) monthly account maintenance fee. As soon as I got notification I canceled my account. $12 a month is ridiculous, I hope I can still sign up for a paypal account, and not be disqualified because I once had an x.com account. (...) Yes, merchants can choose a servicing agent or bank. There are lots out there. Even Costco is getting into the act, contracting with a servicer to provide CC service to executive memebers for 1.75% (or maybe less - I didn't notice). Other than (...) (...) I agree, bizarre. I don't remember seeing any email from them that told me how to transfer from X.com to paypal.
