Re: BAYLIT - Brickbay —Jon Kozan
(...) And I think it is still interesting. After all, the marketplace of ideas can make us all better off... I'm replying to my own post to summarize the current state. And lend my own opinion. First let me publicly congratulate Dan on Brickbay. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: BAYLIT - Brickbay —Ran Talbott
(...) Nonsense. *Sometimes* it is, but naming is a basic feature of language: it doesn't over-simplify the situation to say that Sirhan Sirhan "murdered" Bobby Kennedy, even though the mere naming of the act leaves out the complex issues of (...)           Re: BAYLIT - Brickbay —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Nope, not very long at all: (URL) just passed BAYLIT in inventory. That's a raw metric of course, and says nothing about the quality and type of parts. (it's probably a good 20-40% basic bricks at the moment) So which is which again? ++Lar (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: BAYLIT - Brickbay —Jon Kozan
(...) FWIW, I drove to ZB yesterday specifically to take a close look at Mickey's little Fire Engine. And the part it uses is indeed an old part, but a Basic version with an ugly Basic base. The ladders I've listed on Brickbay are NOT the parts from (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) Oh - good word. See - my dictionary works. ;-) (...) First, IMO the way you've grouped shops by country is a great "solution" to this naming "issue".         Feeback - how worthwhile is it? —Mike Stanley
I've been mulling over the feedback thing in my mind lately, especially after someone pointed out what appears to be a pretty strong effort to "pump up" feedback by making multiple small orders from the same buyer on Brickbay. So I guess what I'm (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Feeback - how worthwhile is it? —Frank Filz
