23 pieces, currently going for... $71.00.

I suppose y'all saw the closing bid?  $128.51.  That's $5.59 a piece.
Troy Cerfatti was right, not a single piece was unique -- or, for that
matter, large or special in any way.

*Plus* there's shipping... want to bet it gets sent insured?

Some classic yellow castles (set #375/6075) haven't gone for that much.
And at least yellow castles have a full 779 pieces to recommend them,
including the rare yellow extreme slopes.

(...) I can't believe that set went for that much money. I had that set about a year ago. I sold it, but not for that much. It was on Ebay for $20 ended at like $35 with Shipping. People are going crazy, this is nuts. What has happened to this (...) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Hey there, Get a load of this: (URL) pieces, currently going for... $71.00. Is the calendar software over at eBay having some kind of Y2K problem? Does somebody over there think that it's 04/01/2000? O.K., so the set is "rare." But I haven't paid (...) (25 years ago, 6-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
