  good words for Elements 2000

I just wanted to let everyone know that the 'Mikes of Columbus' are making good on their promise of fast turnarounds. Unlike some auctions where you may wait for months to get your LEGO, the 'Mikes' are working hard to get the winnings out. I know (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Clear line between Auctions and Trades

Re: Clear line between Auctions and Trades

(...) Right. The other part is to keep auction announcements out of the trade group. Announcements are just as much "noise" as updates are (to people who hate auctions).   Re: Clear line between Auctions and Trades

(...) The best solution IMO is to first post a "Want to Trade" message to buy-sell-trade. Start an auction (appropriately announced only in the auction group) only after giving the trade message a week or two to generate responses. Heck, you can say (...)
