  Re: Olde Castle Visors!

(...) About a month ago I stumbled upon a BrickLink shop with multiples of these visors in various colors all listed at $10 each. That was more than I could stomach for a part with such limited usefulness, so I did not buy any. I do not recall which (...) (23 years ago, 11-Feb-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: 6068 Dungeon Master's Castle

(...) Hi, It probably is worth something now; likely at least the retail cost. However, I don't find 6068 in any of the databases; is that certainly the number on the box? Can you describe it? That's very odd. It's not an odd version of 6082, the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Feb-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

(snipped .castle, XFUT->.market.appraisal which thrives on this sort of thing ;) ) (...) I've rarely seen them for less than $5-$6 apiece. But there's no real "definite" value, because their condition varies so widely. They were soft and easy to (...) (23 years ago, 11-Feb-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  6068 Dungeon Master's Castle

I have a lego set number 6068 from 1992 called Dungeon Master's Castle. The set is complete and has instructions and the box. I was wondering if this is worth anything now and if I keep it will it increase in value. (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: 50 x 50 grey baseplate and blue attache case set

(...) I forget what Paul Gyugi (sp?) sold me the 50x50 road plates for, I think it was about $15 each (it may have been $25 for two), so $18 sounds reasonable if they are in very good condition. Frank (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

50 x 50 grey baseplate and blue attache case set

Does anyone have an estimate on what these older baseplates have sold for, historically? A gentleman came to the BAYLUG meeting and had 2 that he's interested in selling. I see one on BrickLink (bay) for $18, and I'm wondering if that's low or high. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  80s Technic sets 856, 8848, 8860

Hi there, My mate has these three sets - 856, 8848, 8860 - complete with boxes and instructions (all in really good order) and wants to get some sort of idea of their value. Any ideas? Cheers, Ben (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

[XFUT cad.ray] (...) I used the orthographic keyword in the camera to eliminate perspective. I then placed three shadowless lights along the x, y, and z axes.   Re: Another great find!

(...) The one kind of old brick which might have a noticeable different value would the the original tubeless bricks. I'm not sure I'd pay much for them, but I do now have some in my collection, though few of them are really useable due to warping (...) Bram, Would you be will to share the how that image was produced. I have tried MEGAPov and the find_edges post_process, but I have never gotten results like that. I looks good. Bob (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Another great find!

(...) I don't think that older Pat. Pend. parts are worth any more than any other Lego pieces. As far as I am concerned, they are Lego pieces just like any other.   YATA Selling MOC Instructions...

  Another great find!

I don't know if I'm lucky, or what... I won an auction of legos, & to my suprise I have once again received OLD parts! This time I found several "Pat. Pend." (Patent Pending) plates. Is it just me or are older parts showing up more? And as last (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Insurance update....

Contacted The Insurance Center to speak with Mercy today. It seems her mom was admitted to the hospital so she won't return 'till tomorrow. I'll post again when I get some info. -Matt (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Insurance....

Thanks for the link, Kevin. I, too, keep instructions but unfortunately I've been lax in archiving receipts and flat-folding boxes. I wish I made a habit of that from the beginning. Hi all. This is my first post to the appraisal area, as I am confident someone out there would have an answer to my question.
