  Re: Target

Does Target on Sawmill have 8257 Cyber Strikers? I am in need of some 7 x 1 halfbeams BTW I got some trains this weekend. Needless to say I had a lot of fun! John Matthews Michael Huffman wrote in message ... (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Target

(...) Does that mean you'll get a discount on LEGO? :) We might have to talk... there's all those CyberSlam sets in Target up on Sawmill Rd. ... And if you don't mind me using your employee ID, there's a few other targets I wouldn't mind hitting on (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

Rather than donate a small set at the door, I'd rather donate the equivilant money to somebody who can find used LEGO, or sale stuff, which is best done with plenty of lead time. Of course, getting LEGO free from somebody is a great idea, but not (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

(...) Well, one idea is to have a LEGO rep supply the LEGO for a play area. I've been to several stores here in Columbus where they have the LEGO balloon display (where you guess how many LEGO elements make up the display, the closest one wins a (...)   Re: Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

Hi, I like the idea of a LEGOfest, and almost certainly would go. I'd also like to throw out a few ideas for more discusion, but I won't have time for a week or so. One thing no one has mentioned is a play area. I don't think you can have a LEGOfest (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

(...) Thanks! (...) Ideally, I'd like to give people at least 4-6 months [1] advance notice for the first Fest, then hold the next one on or around the same time frame.   Re: Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

Keen idea. Some random thoughts Friday may not be good for those that have to travel a long distance, my preference would be to be able to set up on Saturday and fest Sunday. Unfortunately that is completely incompatible with holding it at a church. (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Mid Ohio LEGO Fest '99?

Talking with some friends, we thought it would be a good idea to rent out a community center or a church for part of a weekend & do a LEGO Fest, where people would display their own creations, allow us to all meet up, but more importantly to (...)   Re: clearance sale goodies

(...) If Target at Easton and the nearby Wal-Mart are any indication, the answer is "Nothing." Target was bone-dry, and Wal-Mart had only some 25th anniversary tubs ($10 for <800 pieces, which is a good buy, but I wasn't interested). Steve ---...--- (...) I haven't even checked-out Target or Wal-Mart for clearance LEGO, except for the Target on Olentangy River Rd. since it's nearby (got a 8735? motor @ 40% off). What have I been missing?
