  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) below.) (...) Well, yeah -- I thought that was a "given." I generally meant that I will have no defensive buildings, as they are essentially a huge waste of points. (...) Alas, there is a HUGE argument over this -- what does the energy (...) (24 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) Not me, I live in Cleveland. I hinted that I'd be willing to host a BrikWars event up this way, but that's likely too far for folks to travel. Adrian (24 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) Even if you don't buy bases or bunkers for your armies, you're going to want to build a lot of 'scenery' buildings (which cost 0 CP since they don't really belong to anybody) or some other kind of cover, or the minifigs aren't going to last (...)   Re: CO BrikWars get together

I have an idea. I can call around Columbus and ask various commercial gaming stores (The Soldiery, on Indianola, for example) and see if they would host our event. (And if applicable, how much it would cost to rent a backroom.) Who agrees with this (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) Hehe, ok. (...) Yes. All of us are "newbies" to the Brik War game, so our first event is basically a "bring whatcha can." (...) A free for all is probably the best, as it leaves out buildings. (More below.) (...) Just random stuff. Buildings (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Tiffany, I don't think that we ever actually had that meeting in Cleveland. It was supposed to be at my place, but we never settled on a date, and then everyone got busy with the holidays and such. Now I have a job that requires working the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) I would be, but my current job with the Census keeps me busy on the weekends. Perhaps after this assignment is over, I can catch the next event. Troy (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) There sure are, look in chapter seven (7.2.7: Medix). At the bottom of the Medix section is a paragraph about SickBays. For ten points, you can build a SickBay of any size into a building, even the size of the whole building. Build a couple of (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)
