Re: I'll be visiting this weekend

(...) Hmm.... Well, I've had Chinese today and yesterday, so I'd prefer something else, unless everyone else is set on Chinese. Also, the convention is planning an Italian dinner on Saturday evening, so ditto for Italian, unless it's a family-run (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

(...) I think I can spare a yellow 1x1x5. If you want to bring along some of those 6024s, perhaps we can find some other stuff to trade. (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Re: I'll be visiting this weekend

(...) Mike, I can help out with the 2x2 white plates, just tell me how many. The only thing that I know I need is a 1x1x5 yellow brick. I'd love to get my hands on some odd pieces of monorail track, but I know that's not very likely. I'll trade you (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Re: I'll be visiting this weekend

6:00 is fine with me. If you like, go ahead and pick a restaurant -- I'll eat anything. (Although if you like NC cuisine, you can't go wrong at Don Murray's Barbecue at 2751 Capital Blvd.) That way if traffic is bad I can just meet you at the (...) (...) How does this sound for a plan: Meet at say 6:00 in the hotel lobby (1) Pick a mutually acceptable place for dinner Trek on over to my appartment by 9:00 or so (2)(3) (1) Would earlier or later be good for folks? Meeting for a meal Thursday night is a possibility for me too. If there's a tour of Frank's treasure trove afterwards, then I'm doubly enticed. Hi all, I'm reading along trying to keep track. There is a possibility that I might be able to join in too. I won't know til Thurs. afternoon. Please keep posting or email me as plans solidify.   I'll be visiting this weekend

Hi! I'll be up in Raleigh this weekend, attending a convention at the Embassy Suites (the phone number for the hotel is 919-881-0000, if the con's web page is accurate).   UCS X-Wing at Cary TRU

The Cary TRU has three (as of 9:15 PM tonight) copies of the UCS X-Wing set. I did not buy one and now that I think about, nor did I check the price. They also have the Millenium Falcon for $100.
