Since the wagon plates are two plates thick, I was going to try making some out of regular and technic gray plates (although the technic plate color probably wouldn't matter). Mike Walsh recently requested that LEGO make the center car available for the Metroliner as a separately orderable item ((URL) and that got me thinking: can a Metroliner be easily converted into three center cars?
