Sunday and Monday, there will be a President's Day weekend sale at Toys R Us in CA. They will have the Lego #3033 Basic Blue Tub for $14.99 plus tax. 12V track is exactly the same as 4.5V track, except that they have a conductor rail (2 studs wide, removable) that sits between the rails. Well, then you get into the sticky part - "what are they really worth". I would HOPE that black/white/red/blue train window frames get pretty cheap in May, considering there are 7 in a $22 set, I just can't see any sane person valuing them above (...) Regarding restricting track voltage, I opened my controller up to see what could be done, and actually, there isn't much in it. Strangely, I've found that one of my MOC deisel engines doesn't hold up well in 'extended service'...after a few hours, I was suffering frequent structural failures.
