    Re: Totem pole? —Tony Priestman
Well, I asked if anyone was doing anything a week or so ago, and got no replies, so I was thinking that it wasn't going to happen. From my point of view, 'I will if you will' :-) Let's say: * A footprint of 32x32 or smaller. * The top & bottom to be (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) What is this Totem pole thread all about? (Sorry, I must have missed the original messages). It sounds like an opportunity to build a massive Lego tower in sections but that would require scaffolding wouldn't it? Jon (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

        Re: Totem pole? —Phil Traviss
FWIW, my concerns about fest IV are that we are in danger of spreading ourselves too thin. I would imagine there's plenty to keep us busy just with trains. However, that might not suit everyone. But in my own mind, the theme for Redditch is (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

        Re: Totem pole? —Tony Priestman
This is a v. good point, which I'm happy to go along with. I quite like the idea of a Towerfest, on a nice warm summer day, outside, small boys playing in the park, jumpers for goalposts... ;-) On Wed, 1 Mar 2000, Phil Traviss (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

        Re: Totem pole? —Phil Traviss
In answer to Simon's questions: M/B = mint/boxed - I will be bringing some sealed 4.5v sets, for display only. I can also bring 7725 and 7745, but I need to replace the rubber bits of the wheels on the 7725 - anybody any ideas on that? The fiddle (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

replacement train rubbers (was Re: Totem pole?) —Phil Traviss
I asked for ideas on replacing the rubber bits of train wheels because I am having difficulty sourcing replacements. Apparently you can no longer get them from LEGO. I already searched in lugnet.trains, found others with the same problem. Anyone (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
