After months of planning, organisation and building, the day of the Piece-by-Piece South-Hants Show finally arrived. Despite arriving at the hall at 8:40am Pete and Rhys had beaten me there. We, the Brickish Association, put on our second display at the STEAM museum (www.steam-museum.co.uk) on Saturday 21/Feb/04. Seven of us contributed to a 3m x 12m (6' x 36') layout, and Mark Bellis bought a small layout and his 8mm:ft scale trains. (...) Latest posters at the station indicate these works are still on-going for the weekend. Services to Portsmouth and Southsea are suspended, services to Portsmouth Harbour are running but re-timed. (So if its a slow stopping service its probably not (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)
