Latest posters at the station indicate these works are still on-going for the
weekend. Services to Portsmouth and Southsea are suspended, services to
Portsmouth Harbour are running but re-timed. (So if its a slow stopping service
its probably not running, but if its a fast service it probably is running
albeit slower. If that didn't confuse you, ring National Rail Enquiries before
travelling.)

| There are engineering works in the Clapham area that will affect trains between Waterloo and Portsmouth that weekend There is a regular service, but it is not the one printed in the standard timetables. The on-line train times web-sites should have (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)
