Piece-by-Piece South-Hants will take place from 11:30am on 21st Feb 2004 at
the Community Centre, Petersfield (for full details and directions see
previous post, linked from the side bar)
Featuring a number of large "community" projects and smaller displays:
* MOS LEGO - a display of modules, buildings, craft, characters and
animals based on the Star Wars theme
* MONORAIL - a large display of working Lego monorail with accompanying
buildings
* WALLED TOWN AND CASTLE - a collection of medieval buildings enclosed by
the city wall and guarded by a large castle
* TRAINS - a working 9v Lego Train layout with associated buildings
(co-ordinated by David Tabner)
* ORIENT HOTEL - a large hotel based on the Orient Expedition theme and
entered in this years International System Creativity Contest
* SMALLER DISPLAYS - including Space, Technic, Robots, Paradisa, etc
In addition there will be a number of sellers with sets, minifigs and parts
(both old and new) for purchase.
As you can see we have a number of exhibits and sellers arranged for your
enjoyment but there is plenty of room left, both in the hall and the planned
"community" projects so pick up your bricks, get building and come and be
part of something bigger than the sum of its parts!
Please let me (or the relevant co-ordinator) know if you plan to bring
something big or need a large amount of space, or just turn up on the day
and we'll fit you in.
The hall will be open from 9am for exhibitors/sellers to set up before the
doors open to the general public at 11:30am

| There are engineering works in the Clapham area that will affect trains between Waterloo and Portsmouth that weekend There is a regular service, but it is not the one printed in the standard timetables. The on-line train times web-sites should have (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)
