  Lego closing French office

I spotted the following story in yesterday's AFP news wire feed, hopefully it'll be of interest to someone out there? (Note that I've reworded things to avoid copyright infringement.) Hello! I will be traveling to Spain this spring. I am familiar with Southern Spain, though this time around I will be going to Northern Spain as well as Portugal. Other than El Corte Ingles and this small little toy shop in downtown Madrid that I (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.eu)

  Re: EuroFest Currency?

(...) If you're going to hold it in the UK, standardize on pounds. I don't think if you come to a country you can assume they'll accept your currency. Setting up shop near a Bank, Change-booth, or ATM may be a good idea, though ;) Jasper (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.eu)
