Working in conjunction with the National Capital Commission, ParLUGment will be participating in the opening weekend of Winterlude. At the north end of the world's longest skating rink, ParLUGment will be displaying a winter theme train layout, (...) G'day folks, I was wondering if anyone has ever checked out the Educational/Teachers store in Bells Corners, on Roberston west of Moodie (in mini-mall across from the Nissan stealership). Nope. I pretty much kept to myself, admiring the work in awe :-) I'm still a little shy about my little Lego obsession. Odd, isn't it? Just got in from the show. The layout was fantastic! Absolutely amazing. Clearly the hit of the show. Great job to all who contributed. I wish my creations were so creative and well-build. Hello, The Ottawa LEGO club ParLUGment is pleased to announce our second train layout showing in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. On October 16th and 17th, we will be displaying a 25' x 16' LEGO Train layout at Railfair 27. This is double the size of last (...)   Star Wars Minis @ Sears
 
G'day folks, I've noticed that Sears has been putting the Star Wars minis on for $6.94, but they aren't consistent about which series of minis is on sale. I stopped at TRU today, and there are several things on sale, but none of them are very good sales. They do have the new Alpha Team arctic sets, and the new Knights Kingdom though. Well, we had a record breaking turn-out for our May meeting. 14 people showed up, and that was without 2 regulars. We went around the circle to introduce ourselves and our favourite themes, so the new attendees were Deborah (architecture), Shirley (...) Stopped at TRU on Merivale today. They have ALL the X-Pods now. A bin full. And they have a LOT of stuff on sale, between 30-45% off on sports, racers, some new creator & town stuff, and of course Jack Stone. The 45% was mainly the extra-large (...)
