I had a nice chat with Christine from the Hobby Show. She informed me that
they've been losing money over the last few years and need to defer the costs if
people want the hobby show to continue.
As many of you remember, I had some conversations with Christie and her mom and
dad last year--they basically run the thing--to me anyway, they're honest people
trying to put on a show.
So I'm pretty much on the 'eh, let's do the show this year, pay the 100 bones
and see what happens.'
Now I'm not going to ask all displayers to chip in funds for the
'lectricity--heck, if I spend as little as 100 bones on a weekend, that's a
pretty cheap weekend... ;)
I have a good friend getting a line on teh tables, and we can all bring our own
comfy chairs. I did ask for a 30x30 and also asked for us to be near the
meccano guys.
As for TLC involvememnt, eh... (dave shrugs it off...)
Let's do our thing in a few weeks, have a good time, take lots of pics, and eat
Wendy burgers...

| So I just received a phone call from Christine--she's helping organize the clubs who are attending the hobby show. so bottom line--we have to bring our own tables and chairs (or rent them) AND if we want electicity, we have to rent that from the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on)
