Thanks in advance,

Follow-ups set to:  lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.ca.on

I'm in.

I'll be there all 3 days.

If you need some assistance, I'll help there as well.  Dunno what that entails,
but I'll do what I can.

Hi Dave,

For whatever reason (perhaps my own lack of experience with such an event) the
biggest part of the effort was organizing who was coming and when.  As you can
recall we had people coming and going on each of the three days.  That in itself
wasn't a problem though there were a couple times when the booth was a bit thin.
Hopefully last year's success will encourage more folks to come out this year.

So organizing the mailing list for this year would be one activity I would like
to hand off to someone.  That would include this type of email exchange:

Builder Email 1:  Can I come on Friday?

Organizer Response:  Sure!

Builder Email 2:  It turns out I can come Friday, but also Sunday afternoon...
is that o.k.?

Organizer Response:  Sure!

Builder Email 3:  Now I can come on Sunday all day but only Friday morning... is
that o.k.?

Organizer Response:  Sure!

And so on....

I'm being silly here, but you get the idea.  It seemed to take several emails
per person to get things sorted out about who was coming and when.  As shown in
the example it doesn't take a lot to respond, but this year it's time I just
don't have available.

The other thing this will hopefully accomplish is to have a complete list of
who's coming _before_ the first day of the show so that passes can be arranged
properly.  That (and my miscommunication with Keith) were probably my two
biggest mistakes last year.

Let me know if you're still interested.  :)

Thanks,
Allan B.
