Just wanted to X-post this to loc.ca I received my Wish Book this week, and wanted to point out the Sopwith Camel for only $70 (mine cost nearly $100 when I ordered it from S@H last August, after shipping, tax and the currency exchange). I hadn't (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Google News

(...) Frank, but I know of him - One of my co-worker's wives was a student of his. I was told of him when they saw my Lego obsession, but contact was never made. James (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

Re: Does Zellers still have LEGO sales?

(...) Bradley, Zellers usually has a gap during the summer without BOGO's but I agree, this is getting kinda long. :-/ As far as sets go, over all, the Hudson's Bay Company seems to be stocking less LEGO and having less sales. Perhaps it would be (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Does Zellers still have LEGO sales?

(...) Zellers goes through cycles, I think. About a year ago, they had "Buy one, get one 1/2 off" sales roughly once a month. About 2 years ago, they would do a 15% off sale again roughly once a month. 3 years ago, nothing. Sales have been pretty (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Does Zellers still have LEGO sales?

I checked the news archive, and looks like there hasn't been a LEGO sale at Zellers for over five months. It used to feel like they were a lot more frequent than that. Has Zellers stopped putting LEGO on sale? I notice they mostly advertize as (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: S@H duties??

(...) You are correct - I placed my order. They added on HST and $US 10 shipping. As for the price, I hope you don't mean $CDN 100. 8460 was originally listed at $US 99: (URL) 85 plus shipping is a steal compared to what it has sold for on (...) (22 years ago, 6-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: S@H duties??

  S@H duties??

In light of the recent announcement in .technic (reissue of 8460!), I'm planning on placing my first S@H order in a long while. Here's some of the small print on the S&H page: "In placing your order, you authorize LEGO Shop at Home to appoint a (...) (22 years ago, 6-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)
