  Retailers with train sets?
 
Anyone know where in southern Ontario I can get a train set from a retailer? Or if anyone has a set (mint with box and instructions or better) for a reasonable price (i.e. no rare sets), I don't really care which model although a freight set would (...) I found the HP Sorting Hat set (4701) at Wal-Mart in Square 1, They also had the Manas (8539 attn Chris Magno) they were selling for 88.89. Hello from Kitchener, The local TRU had pretty well all of them ...train, castle, small sets, ... must have had about 8 different sets. At the Costco in Ancaster I just tried to pick up a Championship Challenge using the coupon that came with the shop@home catalogue but they would not honour it. My sister goes to York, and close to her residence (Calumet) there is a ghetto mall that has a Zellers with some fairly old Town/Train/Technic sets (mid 90's). I checked a local TRU today and was told they'd have the Harry Potter sets 'early or middle of October' and I checked a Walmart and they're Lego selection was pretty poor, as usual, and no HP. I was told last week by the big downtown Toronto Toys R Us that the Harry Potter sets have arrived in the Canadian TRU warehouses on the 15th of September, and could wind up on the shelves "within a day or within a month." Our train layout this last weekend was a great success, and we again collected the 2nd place "people's choice" award. Our major goal this year was to have lots of automation, and I think we managed to acheive it. Highlights include: fully automated (...) I may have to check my Wal-Mart; I would find that odd, though. Normally, they have the deal with Toys 'R Us; they even get the toys before the Lego store in Mall of America. but, my toy r us doesn't have them in yet, so maybe they worked out a (...)
