  Studs and non-Studly NSW AFOLs...

Guys and gals, Earnest self-appointed webmaster seeks advice: It doesn't seem appropriate to update a site called Studs if its no longer what we want to call ourselves. Before the early April fest there was much to-ing and fro-ing about naming, and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Re: Anzac Day Brickwars?

(...) There wasn't any carnage apart from one of the Timmy twin-engines taking a dive into an icy terrain after a flypast. A Bricktorian (spy?) was captured and tortured. There was a lot of admiring of weaponry and publicity shots taken. Eyes out (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Anzac Day Brickwars?

Hi, How did the Anzac day brickwars go? I was intending to come up and watch, but I got called to an impromptu M:TG match during which I got slaughtered. Who won? Who performed the most ludicrous feats of accuracy? Let us in on the details, thanks. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

(...) I mentioned this to someone on our way out of Big W on Saturday, now who was that ? I also mentioned it to the MUGs when they were in Sydney. (...) Of the four 2870's I bought on Saturday, three have grey-blue outlining on the pink torsos, the other one has black outlining. Anyone else found this? I think the black outlined one looks better. Cheers Richie Dulin (23 years ago, 19-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Re: Lots of lego

(...) G'day, Well, I can't speak for Sydney, but down here in Melbourne there's several second-hand toy shops.   Toys-r-us Chatswood 16/4/1

Just to let you know, the $9.97 4225's and the $29.97 4229's that we cleaned out at Erina on Saturday, were at TRU Chatswood yesterday, along with the $50 World on wheels set. Also, there were two sets of 9V points/turnouts/switches. They had a fair (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Re: Lots of lego

(...) <snip> (...) Angus, I'll second Dave's suggestions. I think it really depends on the age of your kids... if they're preschool aged, go for the small red bucket. I'm thinking of coming south to check it out. However, I dunno if the 16th Dec is a likely prospect; too close to Christmas. Early in the New Year would work better for me. Kerry (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)
