  Re: Trains available in stores?

(...) The 4561 is in most Grace Bros for $299, haven't seen it in a TRU. I got one from TW Ulladulla. (...) Very good question, especially when you see Lego move so much quicker at a reasonable price. (...) '& ADULTS' I like it. pete.w (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Now that I've got that out of the way, I can't actually remember seeing this anywhere other than Myer stores. [Then again, as I don't really like the (...)   Toyworld clearance items (the ones Ben mentioned)

Further to the Lego sets on clearance at Toyworld (Ben mentioned it a few days ago). At least some of the TW stores have put these out on sale. The TW store I visited was at Ballarat. The prices (well, some of them) were as follows: NOTE: For U.S. (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Trains available in stores?

Was in Toys R Us Parramatta on thursday night. They had One of the 4561 trains on the shelf, (this is the new alpine express one). It was priced at about $230, I'm assuming this set doesn't include the transformer at this price. But the question i (...) (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Or better yet, maybe it should be taken as an offer to serve as a factor for people all over the world to obtain these sets? ;) best LFB (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: S@H - 4 buses, stand with lights available, 3411 info

Sorry, didn't mean to make anyone upset. I'm just trying to contribute a little info here on lugnet. Soccer does not have it's own newsgroup. It's not town, or I would have posted it there. I mean, no minifigs stand on spring-loaded bases in my town (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Shrine Driveby

(...) What have you used to calibrate your rangefinder? I drive past there most every day, and all my targetting computer issues is a mournful "bupbow". I use the "corporate-to-customer care-factor" algorithm myself. (...) AFAIK they have been there (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

As far as i know they've always been in Lane Cove, well the 90's anyhow, as some of the earlier service catalogues give the Lane Cove Address. Was there actually a building there? The way they're going I'd hav expected a maybe a shipping container (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Fellow Australians, While driving through Lane Cove backwaters on a Lego mission, the rangefinder blipped that something of interest was closeby... Lego Australian HQ ! Maybe I was expecting more.
