Sorry, didn't mean to make anyone upset. I'm just trying to contribute a
little info here on lugnet.
Soccer does not have it's own newsgroup. It's not town, or I would have
posted it there. I mean, no minifigs stand on spring-loaded bases in my
town :-)
I included 'S@H' in my subject line, so it would be reasonably clear what
this message was about. Those with no interest could just skip it. I
certainly don't read every post in every lugnet group that I subscribe to.
I suppose it could also be posted in lugnet.market.shopping, but I feel it's
more than that, as it is an announcement pertaining to the emergence of a
new theme, which might have a more 'general' appeal to it. If I post to
both groups, do I get chided for cross-posting?
It can take a fair amount of digging through all the newsgroups here to get
all the info I'm looking for. The blessings vs curse of
compartmentalization, I suppose. If I feel some info I've got some good
info with reasonable crossover appeal, but I'm not 100% sure which one group
to put it in, should I send this info to Todd first? Todd, do you want to
be the filter, or do you feel most of us can get our posts into a reasonably
correct newsgroup most of the time?
My apologies if this should have been posted in some type of discussion
group that would have been more on-topic.
