Hi everyone

It's taken longer than I thought, but I have finally secured a venue for the
Queens Birthday long weekend Lego meet.

The venue is the Brunswick South West Uniting Church on Union Street,
Brunswick. We have the hall from midday on Sunday, June 10th for as long as
we like - but I think 6pm might be a good pack up time. The hall is CHEAP -
only $8 an hour (much better than the $35/hour someone wanted to charge us!)

Nice work Sue, sounds great :-)

$5 says we want to stay on after 6pm ;-)

What we need to know ASAP is how much stuff to we have to accomodate. In
other words - nominate how much space you all need table wise.

I'm really only bringing Ahab's horde - half a table would be entirely fine.
Or I guess I could just camp on one corner of the BrikWars table.  Or the
floor even!  Some of these weapons would probably still be useful if the
Slayer was landed out in the carpark 8-]

Ben, any thoughts on worthy accommodation nearby?

Well, after looking around my area...there's a couple of caravan parks
between Craigieburn and Cambellfield, an 'F1" motel in Cambelfield, and of
course, both Sue Ann's and my place are open to guests. Other than that, all
I can really suggest is enquiring at your local NRMA, as I don't really get
away from the main roads much [long work hours cut back into driving around
aimlessly time.] Alternatively, maybe Sue-Ann knows of somewhere nearish to
the venue?

Still baldly preparing (awaiting the arrival of 2 AT-STs, scheduled for a
Port Block Refurbishment...)
