Evening all,

Last especially cross piratical space dudes page for a bit now - I have
reached the limit of what I expect to be able to transport to Victoria for
BrikWars at the June fest :-)

There are more shots of the shuttles at
http://www.ozbricks.com/portblock/esp/esp-4.htm

Cool models!  Fun + Functional ...They have a heavy duty, reinforced hull
look that conveys their purpose well...namely deployment of troops during
combat.  I like the color scheme too...the standard gray is broken up nicely.

How many troops can you cram in each APC?

Having acquired a couple Imperial shuttles, I was working on a similar APC
design (except mine is ultimately a rip-off of the APC in a cancelled sci-fi
series called SPACE: ABove + beyond...don't know if you have seen it in Oz)

Your APCs remind a little of the ones in STarship troopers...

and some of the new heavier attack craft at
http://www.ozbricks.com/portblock/esp/esp-5.htm

I like the detail on these models...black w/ intimidating lines, angles, and
accessories.  I have always been a fan of 2+ man vehicles for my forces...I
like your side by side design.

The good news is that the new attack craft are entirely of Lego ;-)  No
trimegabrikium to be seen anywhere.

I am still not a fan of the trimegabrikium. However, I admire the carrier
you built and the tremendous MOC possibilities that can be realized from a
large supply of INEXPENSIVE bricks...(having seen 700 piece mega bloc sets
for $20 while the same in Lego is $100, excepting the tubs)

Very fine stuff actually, Lego.  And
this Alpha team stuff, have I mentioned how much I like the parts in these sets?

I have just recently seen the line at a local retailer... I am intrigued by
the Bomb Squad and ATV w/ sub sets... I'll pick one up sooner or later.

(And hello lugnet.space.  I don't usually post here, but it has been
suggested to me that you guys might like some of this stuff.  Careful, the
big stuff is not mainly Lego, but Mega Blocks - I just can't go past it for
ship hulls.)

Still baldly looking forward to the Studfest (VIII? IX?) at Macquarie
University on 25 April...

It's nice to see yet another Port Block update and especially another
installment of "especially cross piratical space dudes"  (I like a little
humor mixed with my pulse rifles and star destroyers)
