I was told by Customet Service that the pricing of the soccer sets was
determined by Marketing, and that customer service doesn't have anything to do
with the pricing.

As marketing doesn't deal with customers (as silly as that may seem) and
customer service doesn't deal with marketing this would explainw hy noone has
the foggiest about the prices.

I'd say that September will the time if and when prices change. As this is when
some of the new items become available and also the time that the online
enterprise should be effective for us.

The soccer sets have proved to be a bargain in pricing terms for us. I hope
that marketing somehow realises how much better these prices were. Perhaps they
could wander to the other end of the office to the customer service people.

Doh Jamie, yeah i pretty much accepted football as a theme, really looking

Yeah, I knew you knew that :), the other respondent didn't seem to
understand the prices were the issue rather than set availability.
I don't know when they are going back up if at all, no-one seems
to really know.  I've heard rumours of "in a month or so" and "when the
sets are restocked" (which is probably around the same time), but so far
there doesn't seem to be any clear basis for either.  Someone mentioned
that LA themselves didn't know, I think.

If you want heaps of stands or whatever maybe a massive layby is in order
just in case!

(...) Ah, knew I'd read that somewhere - thanks :) Do we actually have marketing people in Aus? You'd think that they were in an office on the other side of the planet, for all they seem to not understand Australia as a market. The LA customer (...)
