best place to get a 4513 Grand Central Station?

Where is the best (read cheapest place that still has it available) to get a 4513 Grand Central Station? Should I buy one now or do the people here who follow the sale patterns think that it is the sort of thing that is likely to come down in price? (...) (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Question about Technic parts

If you want sets that are clearly "techinc" but not actually labeled "technic", the Inventor sets clearly count. (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Question about Technic parts

Which kind of makes sense as Life on Mars/ the start of Star Wars were around the same time. I suppose I'm looking at in terms of being able to look at picture of a set and say "that's a technic style brick/piece". In other words, the obvious stuff. (...)   Re: Question about Technic parts

(...) Depends what you mean by a big way. Many SW sets made use of Technic parts, and though no single set used heaps of Technic, lump them all together and you could say SW used Technic parts in a big way. ROSCO (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Question about Technic parts

Hey everyone Here's a question about Technic parts.. What was the first series that introduced technic style parts in a big way in a non-technic set? Would it have been Life on Mars? Of course, I'm removing from the list anything that was branded as (...) (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Before anyone says anything, this is in no way a reference to the Tilt Train accident, unless you count this reference, in which case it IS a reference to the tilt train accident. oh, never mind Today, as I was waiting for a train at Dandenong (...) (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Holy Shriek! Shrieking Shacks @ Myer (where else?) $49.95- !

I too got the extra 25% discount applied to 4 shrieking shacks that I put on lay-by at Myers. (An effective total discount of 62.5%) If anyone finds out that the 25% manually applied on top is wrong, please email me. Spammers will be ignored, and (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Holy Shriek! Shrieking Shacks @ Myer (where else?) $49.95- !

I had much the same experience with the same set at another Myer store. When I first took it to the counter the assistant said it was $49.95 but when my partner took the same set they gave him the extra 25% off. As to whether we were *supposed* to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: TRU specials

(...) (...) Shucks, thanks Ley! I was going to post an anouncement for the van but I figured as it is pretty much a copy of the white one, I'd be flogging a dead horse, so to speak. ;P Glad you liked it though and I hope to get the rest of my red ute (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Braith's Panel Van (and Re: TRU specials)

(...) Thanks Braith, A return to Perth is indeed possible. Your bonus box selection is considerably different from Jonathan's 3314.
