Today, as I was waiting for a train at Dandenong station I noticed two men
taking pictures of the trains as they passed.  When I asked them about it
they informed me that they were rail enthusiasts from Queensland.  we got
to talking and they mentioned that they built model railways.  As the MLTC
is planing a display this very weekend I told them about out Lego Railway
Modeling and they told my of the "unbelievable" (their words) display of
Lego Trains they saw back home.  I just thought I should post this so

a) The QLD dudes can see how they affected those who saw their display
b) the MLTC dudes can see that Actual Rail Enthusiasts are excited about
Lego and my initial fears of being put down by model railroaders may have
been misplaced

Just thought I would bring some joy, and spread some love......

Thank you very much from all of us at BLTG and is is pleasing to know that we
have so many admirers to pass the word about Lego trains arround.
We will start soon on next years entry to the anual show so keep an eye out and
I will try and provide some behind the scenes info before we get to the show.

Yes put your fears away they enjoy the Lego trains as much as there own they
crowd arround in the few hours before we start to see what new additions we have
added this year and are always full of praise.
I too was a little worried at our first display but not any more.

Cheers and thanks again

Before anyone says anything, this is in no way a reference to the Tilt Train accident, unless you count this reference, in which case it IS a reference to the tilt train accident. oh, never mind Today, as I was waiting for a train at Dandenong (...) (20 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
