In lugnet.loc.au, James Howse writes:
I've just got back from the third Sydney get together and wheee... There were
three more people than last time and at this rate we should have a dozen by
the next one!

We had a train layout that went around the house (Pete W's) and a huge battle
in the other room between Pete C and Dave Low on one side and Richard and
myself on the other, much carnage!

Heaps good fun and we'll do it again I'm sure. There are pictures coming as
soon as Pete C coaxes his new digital camera into giving them up. But for now,
I've got to get building for the next one.

Thanks to all the attendees and consumers of the chilli.
The highlight for me was probably Kev Hall's magnificent castle (in the ABS),
A structure I hope will live for a little while longer, though I'm sure it's
reconfigured parts will turn up in something equally magnificent.
Most honourable mentions must go to pete.c's fortifications and roving attack
force which kept all safely at bay. Also David Drew's fleet of Technic cars,
has aroused an interest in such sets, that a trip to ebay may well be on the
agenda. Almost forgot Richard.P's space pirate fleet which I'm sure 100%
application given from 100% of the force, might have seen a different result
on the day (maybe a suicidal dive from the flagship onto PC's fortress may
have done the trick).
Then there was the dynamic train duo, Eli and Santosh who circled the house
in style, and ignited an interest/obsession in my son of Lego trains that
may siphon funds away from other themes in the long term.
Lest I forget James and Dave.L's contribution to the battle, with smaller but
nonetheless brave forces, who tried some inventive moves to stifle their
bigger opponents.

So LegOz 2000.4 here we come, the more the merrier, so diary the first weekend
in August, all those within traveling distance and see you there.
