Re: Transporting MOCs for Brickvention 2006

(...) When I went to the UK from Germany I took a MOC (a house) and I made it into levels. I separated the levels and shoved small clothing items inside them and then placed that lot into a bag (so if parts come off, it is in the bag and not the (...) (18 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Transporting MOCs for Brickvention 2006

(...) Having observed the baggage handlers at work in their dismantling of the brig Seatop on Sunday night (amongst their other duties), I think the secret to transporting MOCs might be that 32kg. Light bags are thrown around alot. Heavy bags are (...) (18 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Part Mods - Baseplates and Technic parts

A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...)   Re: First Lego Sales In Portugal in 1957?

Nuno, A "named beam" is (usually) a white 1x6 or 1x8 brick with writing on it. Common ones are 1x8 bricks with "GARAGE" or "ESSO SERVICE" writing on one side, or a 1x6 brick with "HOTEL" or "CAFE" writing on one side. Did that #210 set have a brick (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.loc.pt)
