I’d just like to say thanks again for everyone that came and helped make it all so much fun. Especially those who had came from the far corners of the country. Although our 2 international visitors were unable to make it this year, we had many from interstate, including Queensland, New South Wales, Tassie, and even 1 from Western Australia.

I was too busy to take heaps of pics, and I’ll be posting a summary Real Soon Now, but until then, here’s a selection to get you started.

Thanks from this attendee to the organisers who got this happening. Thanks to the providers of accommodation and the hospitality of the MUGS crowd. Thanks to the other travellers (but where were the South Australians ?). Hopefully JRB can make a future one.

It was a suitable venue, probably worthy of being immortalised in brick itself.

Wow, what a train layout with a monster mountain and seeing micro-Melbourne in real life was a highlight, we even ventured down to the edge of the area depicted and caught a tram for the first time on our return up Swanston.

Noticed a coffee bar on Swanston called ‘the Element’, hmmm....could be a future sponsor there, though I didn’t get to try their product.

There was even a belville coloured building on Swanston.

My aboriginal moonbase module and Matt’s moonbase module looked like they were designed with each other in mind, they seemed happy to spend the weekend together. Two yellow modules out of 5-6 total, who would have thought. Though Matt’s dark bley and my module’s dark grey highlights might make long-term commitment improbable.
