Euhmm, you got me there... Since i live in Belgium, i haven't got the chance to visit it. It's a white building with 3 black domes on top in the miniand section. I think it is in the California display. You could also take a look at Ray Silva's (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.legoland.california)

Yes, the "Griffith Observatory" is in Miniland. If you enter Miniland near "Washington DC"....keep going along the side by where the Model Shop is, don't go over to the "New York/Manhattan" area. Lawrence, I stayed at the Residence Inn in Carlsbad in April of 2001. I was with my family, including 2 boys ages 7 and 9, and I was pretty happy with this location. (...) If money is no object, the Grand Palisades is nice. I didn't go in any of the rooms though. But it is walking distance to the park - just across the street. I'll add a few more things. Note that LL CA isn't open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the summer. They just started this in Jan (they aren't getting enough business on those two days).
