Re: This is stupid... I can't tolerate this *juniorization*...

(...) Dan... if that makes you sad, just take a look at the style of buildings that LEGO used to put into their sets. These are the kind of buildings I got to enjoy as a kid: (URL) got proper walls, doors and a roof. It's got vehicles and yes, even (...) (...) Bionicle (and the whole Throwbot/Roborider/Droid theme) is revitalizing Technic in the same way that 1979 space revitalized town. I remember getting a few space sets, and I kept them in a separate box from my police station and windmill. They (...) (23 years ago, 10-Aug-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

I cant believe what Lego is doing to their toy line. First, they kill the town and city themes, second, they juniorized their sets to the point where a truck or car has only 10 pieces, then they introduce Jack Stone, without keeping another town or (...) I see that some people who gave their thoughts and opinions on this topic have mixed reviews- not a suprise. Everyone's opinions DO count, but it doesnt seem that way to Lego. If Lego was listening to us, they would have probably kept the town/city (...) (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) And they have-- in droves. Themes like Bionicle are attempts to win them back. Guess what? I have not the *slightest* interest in Bionicle, but I'm not going to rail on it. And why should I?
