Don't worry about it Brad, personally, I'm used to being dissapointed by your
company. :-|

As many of you are aware, tomorrow (September 11) is the scheduled launch date
for the new LEGO.com (aka "LEGO.new"), which features a new interface and
content architecture as well as the introduction of LEGO Shop At Home online
and to several countries in Europe.

However, we have elected to delay the launch of LEGO.new for a few days in
order to resolve some last-minute technical issues. Consequently, rather than
the previously scheduled launch date of tomorrow we anticipate going live by
the end of this week.

We have also decided not to introduce online shopping until early October, but
LEGO Shop At Home will still begin its European activities when the site goes
live this week. Toll-free phone numbers will be posted on the site, along with
the available assortment and pricing. Direct-to-consumer sales will take place
initially in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and
Luxembourg. Sweden and Denmark will be able to order by the end of September;
as previously announced, Switzerland will be added in November. LEGO Shop At
Home catalogs will also be mailed in the UK and Germany in October.

We have received many inquiries regarding when we intend to introduce LEGO
Shop at Home to countries not being served in the initial launch. We can't at
this time give specific dates, or provide details beyond those in my previous
post. We are working hard to bring the service to as many countries as
possible as quickly as possible, and will announce any developments as soon as
plans are sufficiently concrete.

We know that there is a great deal of excitement and interest in our new
Internet offering -- and believe me, no one is more excited or interested than
we at LEGO! (And no one more disappointed that we are not going live
tomorrow.) But of course we cannot launch until we are confident that we can
deliver an experience and online product that is worthy of the expectations
held by our consumers and ourselves. We are going to great lengths to ensure
that we do. Hence this small delay.

We thank you in advance for your patience; please hold on to your interest
just a little bit longer. And as always, Play Well.
