(...) Well as far as the overhead I think the two might be closer than you think. There is a lot of air in the Tubs so the tubs take up more space/part plus the lack of packaging on the bulk packs lower their overhead right away. My guess is that (...) A tangentially related question: What happens to the bricks rejected from the system while changing the mold injectors from one color of plastic to another? I already use discolored, heavily scratched or simply "wrong" color bricks as filler in (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Frank & All, (...) I don't think this is a problem per say, I would call it more of a plastic injection molding issue. When I worked in a plastic plant, and we did color changes, we always had to empty out the hopper, blow it out for the possible (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
