  Re: RIS 2.0 Release Date

(...) If TLC doesn't offer an easy way to get a serial infrared tower, there are probably a bunch of folks who would trade or sell you one (who me? I only have 3 RIS sets...). FUT: lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

This may not answer any of your questions, but you can get the Robotics Invention Set 1.5 at Costco for $150.00 plus shipping. Alan Carmack Pflugerville, Texas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthias Jetleb" <jetleb@netcom.ca> To: (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  New accessory packs

I have seen posts about new accessory packs (like classic windows 3446? ). These do not appear as bulk packs on lego.com. Where is a listing of these new items? I am in the US. Lester (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  RIS 2.0 Release Date

Would it be possible to get an official, definiative release date/period/quarter for Midstorms RIS2.0? I've been hearing early March, late March, August, and Fall all depending on who's doing the talking. A specific release date would be nice, but (...)   To the employee's of Lego and all AFOL's

Hi, I just wanted to say Thank You to the employee's of Lego/Lego Direct. I think you have done a tremendous job. I work for a major retailer also, and I know what it is like. I think you have done a great job of supporting us, listening to us, and (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Wonder how long it will take the LEGO lawyers to call you. Only took them two days to email me. (...) I'd love to have a black leather jacket with the Classic Space logo embroidered on it. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

Ahem, I have refrained from commenting on the T-shirt thread until now:-) Actually, my business is designing and printing T-shirts, and so I would be available to print lower runs (and bigger, for that matter) of certain designs (with TLC's (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

LD- If the usage of LEGO marks (as in torso concepts suggested) is a problem, please just say so. I'm sure the community would have more great ideas. Someone had suggested (don't remember who) just the classic smiley. I'd love a shirt with just that (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Could you just contract out the shirts to whoever does them now? I mean the t-shirts and polos in the catalog and at outlets. I think I am more interested in having a say in the look of the shirts than how they are produced. As for high (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) From what I gather then, Brad had this idea, called me at home about it, and then, in person, asked Todd and me to go ahead and announce this good news to the community (only wanting to pre-read our announcement, I believe) -- before his even (...)   Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) thought that it was something that I did to get them that way. I wondered if I left them in the sun too long, or just played with them too often. Little did I know then that it was because of the plastic. I do not use my CA pieces, but the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) I'm not asked, but this is one of my "favorite" topics, since I'm really concerned about the decreasing quality of bricks (to be measured) as well as the quality (playability) of sets (which is quite subjective). I recently bought a 342 ( (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Lugnet Promo Sets

(...) I recall an article stating that Lego/Shell hoped to sell ~7 million sets in the US and had sold ~5(?) million as of close to the end of the promotion. I know that at least some stations shipped their extras back to Lego; wonder where they'll (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Thank you Jake. Knowing that it is under development does help. While LD is working out production -Values?/ Costs?/ Quality control? , why not clue in Lugnet community as to the limits.   Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) I have noticed the 'fingerprint' thing too, but I thought it was because the bricks were shinier or more vivid. I haven't noticed any increase in scratching. (...) real (...) How about the UNICEF van, with the container doors on the back, that would give white container doors, and pannels. It has 1x3x1 doors on it, and it would require little modification to make it as you are suggesting. James (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Lugnet Promo Sets

(...) Umm, I wouldn't be complaining too much about wheels if we got a set similar to 1650 (gosh, how many center sections does that thing have? Is that TLC's longest ship? It looks like it could be longer than a BSB or SES). I assume you meant (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Lugnet Promo Sets

(...) Hi Jake - That'd be great. I understand volume could be an issue - but... how many units of the Statue of Liberty sell? (then again, could be apples and oranges cause that's a HUGE set) But, something offered through Direct/S@H would be nifty. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
