That second one (bridges) I've had a lot of fun with.  Box, span,

with K'NEX, you're usually in the mood to just get the thing down and
put away.  With LEGO, you're most likely thinking about the next thing
you're going to be building ...

Actually, I find that true with K'Nex also.  In fact, I've often
thinking about the next structure WHILE I'm working on the current one.
K'Nex is the closest thing I've found to the old "Beams and Girders" set
I loved so much as a kid.

All construction sets have their place.  Some are more popular, but that
doesn't make the other 'bad' (well, usually :-)
