I dont know 8448, but the ZNAP axles are reall axles, that can be bent into
a curve. The maximum force is unknown to me, but its a long axle much longer
then any Technic axle. So I think its an very usefull part to add into your
collection.

You cant use them for pushing, but the ends are an normal Technic axle, not
so long but usefull. The cheapest way to get them is buying an 3552 box.
Youll get an new Technic engine and an batterybox extra.
The axles are made out of steal by a form of an spring. So I would not try
to put an reall force onto it. But that goes for all LEGO bricks.
