The 8440 has the same suspension setup on both front and rear axles. The
instructions are at:

Pic 16 shows the front partially assembled and the sub bun on the rear. The
8437 has this setup on the front only.

| (...) Only sort of agree. While this is a four bun setup, the rear wheels do not steer. They must use the bun for decorative purposes only. There is a solid axle going through the bun back to the differential. But the front shows the assembly very (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Not sure I totally understand the question, not being a technic head. However the front wheels pivot on two balls that stick out from the frame. The balls are on the end of those 1x2 plate with triangular a-frame parts. The pivoting part seats (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
