  Re: Nothing to say?

Hi Andy, Firstly I'd like to say that I think you and I got off on the wrong foot and I'd like to apologise for that. Looking through these comments here I see I misjudged you and I think you misinterpreted my rudely-phrased comment slightly. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Nothing to say?

(...) I used to look at recent posts to enjoy the gamut of LugNet. When in-fighting occured, the "Noise-to-MOC" ratio was 10:1 as everybody angrily came out of the woodwork. (...) Yes, hopefully I can post ideas that won't be taken that way. At (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

(...) A Release Candidate isn't the latest version. It's the latest development stage of the next version. Tim (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

(...) Erm, The latest IE already supports Alpha PNGs... (Latest being IE7 RC1) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Trouble with IE and PNG - no trouble with BS :)

(...) Thank you geoffrey - I should have FUT and/or Xposted since the beginning to .train :-) Didier (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

(...) I just realised something which is that if you are changing the followup-to you should mark it at the bottom of the message (as I have just done). That is something Didier should have done.   Re: Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

(...) --snip-- Hi Geoffrey, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you here. What Didier probably should have done was post the original to both .general and .off-topic.geek but it is up to the original poster to set the FUT with consideration to where (...)   Re: Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

(...) ok. Sorry for the trouble. ...and I finally understand the problem. IE (even the most recent version) is not supporting PNG alpha-channel transparenciy. (but firefox, mozilla...do :-) ) For those who'd enjoy geek stuff, check (URL) you for (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

Hi, Sorry for this somewhat off-topic subject which I'm not sure where to post - I've FUT to off-topic.geek. I've recently uploaded PNG file format pictures (Photoshop generated) to BS for the first time (I was used with JPGs). The upload has worked (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)
