  Re: Master Lego Builder Dies

(...) I am sorry and touched by the story of Conner. My heart goes out to his family. May all the young fighters in this life be graced with both Lego® and such devoted family and friends! With prayer, -Hendo (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: BZP hits 7,000th member-Lugnet is lagging behind.

(...) Some might like to view it as a friendly competition, but that's as far as I think it should go. I think we should be more oriented towards sharing resources in the community than trying to beat each other out for who's best, biggest, etc. I (...)   Re: BZP hits 7,000th member-Lugnet is lagging behind.

(...) Indeed. (...) Plus, Todd and Suz are working on improving this system. Additionally, I point out that we cannot really compare these two forums based on number of members anyway. The two of them cater to different audiences and do not (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: BZP hits 7,000th member-Lugnet is lagging behind.

(...) Don't forget to look at the title of this thread... "BZP hits 7,000th member-Lugnet is lagging behind." Which indicates a sort of compitition. I know that the topic of Lugnet member posts is a very old, beat up topic, but I guess we might as (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) -snip- (...) So what? Sorry Dave, you are just coming off as bitter here. BZP is a great place to hang out. And yes, it _is_ one of, if not the most popular Lego site out there - and yes even more popular than.... Mask Of Destiny (gasp!). (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Bricksmeat 2003 - or how not to transport large MOCs!

(...) Yes, I think part of the problem was the MOCs themselves. Both were facades and the white one in particular was pretty flimsy (especially in the open retail shopping area at the bottom of the building), so I wasn't totally surprised to find (...)   Re: Bricksmeat 2003 - or how not to transport large MOCs!

(...) Yes, this is what I am intending to do on my next attempt as I suspect shock absorption was probably to blame. Just for the record, I did successfully rebuild both MOCs (apart from 2 2x2 white bricks left over, oh well ...) so they will be on (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general)

Re: *NEW* LEGO brick-ish Transformers by Hasbro -- What's the deal?
