Re: *NEW* LEGO brick-ish Transformers by Hasbro -- What's the deal?

(...) David, Well thanks for checking on this. I realized after the last post that our comments probably should only go to .general and not to the LEGO Company page...sorry Todd. Hasbro must think of themselves as awfully sneaky if they thought (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: The way we were: January, 1994

(...) I wonder how many of us can say that clone bricks dragged us into online AFOLdom? See, my first post was about clonedom too. I beat you by 19 months, but I was talking about TENTE, so I think the obscurity/time comparators are about equal. :) (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: The way we were: January, 1994

Interesting to dig around there. My first posting (though I'd been reading since the dying days of atl): (URL) It is especially embarassing because, as luck would have it, my first LEGO-related posts were about a clone brand. (TENTE) Yeah, yeah, (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: *NEW* LEGO brick-ish Transformers by Hasbro -- What's the deal?

(...) Okay, here's what I've got after chatting with my boss about it. What he distinctly remembers is that about five years ago, Hasbro was actually set up to purchase Little Tykes, but the FTC nixed that because Hasbro already has a very similar (...)
